Thanks Doug.  I'm excited to see those spurs back in the day.  I found rails on the ground at this location behind the movie theater on the west side of Western a few years ago:

I know that into the early 1990s the C&WN serviced a chemical plant that was on the west side of Elston in this area.  It was across the street from a Handy Andy store (sort of like Home Depot now).  I wish I had taken pictures of the tank cars lined up there.
